Let's set upCrazyCut

Three steps: set it up once, clean up your raw video, then let's edit it into a crazy-good reel.

Setup

once per computer, about 20 to 40 minutes

Pick your computer:

Before you startKeep your CrazyCut welcome email open. It has your email and password. You can also see your connector and versions in your account. No email? Message us and we'll send your login.

Get the Claude app from claude.ai/download and sign in.
Connect CrazyCut to Claude. In the Claude app, open Settings, then Customize, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Name it CrazyCut and paste:

A CrazyCut page opens. Log in with the email and password from your welcome email and click Allow.
In Claude, open the Code tab, start a new chat and type:
Install CrazyCut
Click Allow when Claude asks to run a command. CrazyCut goes into your Documents folder (about 60 MB) and every file is checked.
Old copy?Already using CrazyCut from a ZIP? Open that folder in Claude and say "Install CrazyCut". Claude asks first, then upgrades it in place: your projects, videos, taste and music stay where they are, and old projects keep working.
Claude then sets up the video tools. If a Terminal window opens, type your Mac password and press Return. Nothing shows while you type. When it says Done, type done in Claude.
Say yes to each install. Claude tells you what it is and how big it is first.
Start a new chat, choose the CrazyCut folder in Documents and type:
Check my setup
Every line says OK and it ends with Ready? You're set.

Cleanup

Put your raw video in the inbox folder inside Documents/CrazyCut.
In Claude's Code tab, start a chat in the CrazyCut folder and type this with your file's name:
Clean up my video: inbox/My video.mov
Claude cuts retakes, stumbles and loose "um"s, then opens a review page.
Yellow words are yours to decide. Struck words are cut. Click a word to listen, drag to cut or keep.
Click Make clean video when it sounds right.
Or just ask in the chat: "cut the bit about my dog", "make it snappier".

Your video stays on your computer. Only the transcript text goes to Claude.

Let's Edit

Watch the video to see all six styles, pick one and tell Claude:
Edit this in Whiteboard style

Tap a style to put it in the line above, then copy.
Claude shows a plan first. Reply OK or say what to change.
Drop your logo in my/brand and your music in my/music if you have them.
Watch the preview, then send notes with a time: "At 0:13 the heart is too small".
Happy with it? Type:
Render it

The first edit downloads a cutout tool (about 400 MB) and takes a few extra minutes. Claude asks first.

Stuck somewhere?

Type "Check my setup" in a chat in the CrazyCut folder. Claude tells you exactly what's missing and how to fix it. If a command fails, it shows you the plain message and one thing to try.

Claude says CrazyCut is not connected? Open Settings, then Customize, then Connectors, and connect CrazyCut again. Your account, connections and password are at app.aigoescrazy.com.
